Excellent childcare facilities and child-friendly activities abound in Vaujany. The resort has recently been awarded the prestigious Famille Plus (Family Plus) label in recognition of the level and quality of child-friendly services provided - Vaujany being one of only two resorts in the whole of the Isère region to have been recognised in this way.

The Crèche (6 months - 5 years old)

The village has a well-regarded crèche that cares for infants and children aged six months to five years. Activities provided include outdoor play, walks, visits and handicrafts. It offers plenty of toys and games, and even a ball park! There is also a sleep room (as altitude can be tiring for small people too).

The crèche is very popular and bookings must be made well in advance. Kick Alp would be delighted to help you do this, although we ask that you give us as much notice as possible as we don't want you to be disappointed.

You should note in particular the need to provide written evidence from your GP that your child is healthy. Please see the crèche sheet for further details, inlcuding prices.

Kids' Club (6 - 16 years old)

There is also a very highly-regarded Kids' Club, for 6 to 16 year olds, divided into age bands: 6-8, 9-12 and 13-16. Acivities include tennis, archery, swimming, camping, rambling, table-tennis, picnics etc etc!!

Please note that as with the crèche, you must provide a letter from your GP stating that your child is healthy, is up to date with his/her innoculations and is fit enough to undertake moderate sporting activity. Without this letter, your child cannot be admitted to the Kids' Club.

For water-based activities, you will also need to present a 50m swimming certificate, although this can be obtained in resort, following a swimming test. You will also need to provide a photo of your child for ID purposes.

A fee (currently €45 per week) is payable in resort for Kids' Club.

The Leisure Centre

The village's modern leisure centre has a children's paddling pool, waterfall and even water-slides for the very brave! It is open from 10:30am to 8pm most days and costs just a few euros to visit. The current price is €10 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.

Childrens' Meals

All children staying in Kick Alp accommodation can be provided with an early evening meal at 5:30pm. Cots, high-chairs and baby-listeners are also provided free of charge for use by our guests. Please let us know when you book if you have any specific requirements for your children, and we will do our very best to help.
